Grading Overview
Every pallet we sell is graded by trained inspectors against the National Wooden Pallet and Container Association (NWPCA) standards. Here\'s what each grade means in practice.
Like-new condition. No broken boards, no missing blocks, minimal cosmetic wear. Ideal for storage racking and retail display.
Light use. May have cosmetic damage or minor board replacement. Structurally sound. Best value for general warehousing.
Multiple repairs or heavy use. May show significant cosmetic wear. Rated for floor-level stacking, one-way use, or light loads.
Never used. Fresh lumber, no cosmetic imperfections. Used for export, pharmaceutical, food-grade, or high-load applications.
Frequently Asked Questions
What types of pallets do you stock?
We stock used GMA wood pallets (Grade A, B, C), new heat-treated hardwood and softwood pallets, HDPE plastic pallets, and build custom pallets to specification from our Norwalk, CT facility.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our standard minimum is 25 pallets for most stock items. Volume discounts begin at 100 units (4% off) and increase at 250 units (8% off) and 500+ units (12% off).
Can you build custom pallets to non-standard sizes?
Yes. We build custom pallets in any size with notching, chamfering, block or stringer construction, and any lumber species. Lead time is typically 10–14 business days with a 50-unit minimum.
Are your heat-treated pallets ISPM-15 certified?
Yes. All heat-treated pallets carry the ISPM-15 stamp with our registered producer code. The wood core is heated to 56°C for 30+ minutes, meeting phytosanitary export requirements worldwide.
How are your used pallets graded?
We grade using NWPCA standards: Grade A (near-new, no broken boards), Grade B (cosmetic wear, structurally sound), and Grade C (minor repairs needed). Every pallet is inspected by trained staff.
